Sure soon we will see statues of trashes walking around us everywhere! We are carving them with our own hands and calling for trouble for our own!
I think we need to have a proper cleaning mechanism implemented. Aren't we tired by the time we complete the cleaning of our house! Poor people under the hot sun, sweeps away the dirt on the busy roads; collecting the trash in an ill-equipped vehicle which isn't enough to have them all loaded; pushing them all along to that common place from where the trash is sorted out and further disposed...
When we see a clean place, do we feel like littering it? Everybody's attitude is "one extra empty packet on the already littered road doesn't make any difference"... so everyone continues this attitude littering more and more... We do educate our kids but where would we think they can throw those empty packs? Do we have enough trash bins on the roads or markets? Even if they are, they are already full (we just ask "hello, is there anybody cleaning the trash?!!??") and people end up littering around the bin...
And the roads, the way the roads are laid call for litters... No footpath properly finished... They open up showing ways to the drains and calling for litters anywhere! Never seen any end-to-end roads thus closing down the chances of having places for litter... No public toilets available for uses anywhere... And our men has leaking pipes all the time and never mind peeing in front of kids and women... Any bushy place seems to be a toilet for them...
Yes, we need the attitude to keep the place clean. Roadside chaats, fruit stalls, food stalls, etc. without any equipments to collect or clean the trash, call for more littering... There is some basic problem which we would need to address upon before getting into the next step!
